Hard Work Pays

Since the day I was born, I've been destined to make it

Never took it for granted I was determined to take it

Started dancing running swimming even took up some acting

But I knew my love was music when I found Michael Jackson

I was five years old when I told my daddy my mission

How I wanted to sing and be on television

First, he thought I was joking but then I kept on insisting

Don't know if he saw my talent or it was just my persistence

Then at seven made my debut and I dropped my first single

I remember hearing it on the radio how it made me tingle

At that moment I knew that I was gonna be great

Worked hard and I dropped my first album when I turned eight
