You walk through the pressure, through the strain

Through the city's overbearing concrete lanes

Here, you were told you would be safe

But through the hard asphalt you barely hear the rain

By the sidewalk, a tiny crevice in the road

A stubborn flower rose above its world

I know, it took everything you had

But my oh look how full you've grown
