Peace of Mind

I wake up every day with a smile on my face

I'm really not that happy, but i'm scared of being asked if i'm okay

I open up my closet, wear the shirt that I get compliments in

And it's not because it's comfortable but I could use the confidence

Sometimes I think you hate when I don't cry

I just want some peace of mind

I wake up every pulling knives out of my back

I'm here because it's lonely when my friends hangout and keep me in the dark

I really think I hurt too much because I wear my heart on my sleeve

But if they could feel what i've been feeling, maybe i'd have company
