Fresh Start

On the outside, I look polished

On the outside, I look clean

But on the inside, I'm still messy

And sometimes, my mind is mean

On the inside, I been so fearful that from my God, I ran away

Cuz on the inside, I'm still fighting the things I feel I cannot say

I'm not sure how to change and I can't do everything but

Lord with you, I'm made new

You take away the pain and the hurt that's unseen

I need a good old fashioned make over

No beat face, no new wardrobe
