You're a Sunday in the middle of June when it's raining and there's nothing to do

I could color you in with yellow and blue but we both know that wouldn't do

You're a sunset in the middle of May when there's no clouds to get in the way

I could color you in with orange and grey but we both know colors all fade

And I just love looking at you

A photograph just will not do

If I paint you by number I'll need a little thunder and rain to open the sky

And I'll talk to the angels and borrow a rainbow cuz I wanna get it right

A masterpiece that's incomplete is beautiful yet bittersweet
