I'm going up to the state of North Carolina to finally see my friends

Life's a race and if you had someone time you you'd probably win in the end

And some day we'll figure it out alright and we'll maybe make amends

But if I don't call you then don't call me at all

I will ride my bicycle until I cannot feel my legs

I'll hook up with old acquaintances and maybe take a pace

I'll hit the road more times this year and tally all my states
