If the world just stops, then I could see myself as I once was

A man holding a guitar and not knowing what smoking was

My drink of choice would orange juice not filled with whiskey to the brim

I'd talk to my demons out loud instead of fighting them in my head

In my head Im a Kid

In my head I'm 10 years old

I know I'm still young now

So stop the barbed wire from cutting my throat

I know mamma taught me not to raise hell, but only fight when I get hit

But I aint been hit too much and its cause I'm a bigger kid
