I've spent too long just biting my tongue when I wanna get it off my chest

But if the thrill is gone tell me you moved on then I'll burn the letters never sent

And we don't talk like we used to

Is it too late to tell you everything I want to say

I must have forgot what's right or what's wrong when you showed up back in early May

You still paint my thoughts with blood from my heart while I hide under my paper skin

But still I write these songs barely holding on while he's got you holding on to all of him

Is there more that you need or am I just not your speed

Tell me I'm not your muse

Convinced myself it was me in all the songs that you sing just so I don't feel used

So if there's anybody out there show me a sign you hear me when I scream
