Every time I go outside and see all those people looking back at me, I wonder what they Think

I wish I could do it for myself, others thoughts didn't change how I felt

What a life that would be

I just wish I could stay in my own head and out of the others

Cuz' it's not what they're thinking

It's just what I think that they'd mutter

Voices like thunder, I feel so smothered, I shudder and suffer

Can't help but wonder what it's like out from under the covers

I've got a lot on my mind, a lot more to discover

Life's applying a buffer, I'm dying for color, I'm trying to govern
