Gluttony

Yah, rip off the cellophane, to pop my top I got

20 little moments that can make time stop, I take a breather

Deep breaths every 15 seconds or so

I know they're killin' me but I can't seem to let 'em go

A dirty habit but I nab it and smoke

With good intentions, I aim to improve my life in each stroke

So when I try to kick these cigarettes and face a withdrawal

I do the best that I can do to resist when I fall, so far

My track record is littered in failure and butts

Ash trays that runneth over, sober, stoned, or in rutts

A gluttonous monster give homunculus a hell of a run

But instead of chompin' down, we burnin' out, as the light of our sun
