Pride Before The Fall

Got too much to do in life to act as though it's over with

If this is what it's like pushing 30, then man, holy shit

So many of my peers having kids, that's how it's supposed to get

Grateful I ain't aging like milk, cause that would hold the kid

I got so much drive, before they see me, they know the whip

Same people I tried to please, now I realize I don't owe them shit

First job was in clothing, but I was always throwing fits

CD burner was on overtime, could always flow a mix

Wasn't always in the clubs, but I know when I got there, I knew DJs was hit or miss

But that was me and my many attempts to getting at chicks
