Several years later, a local farmer claimed to have encountered Ichabod Crane

While travelling far away from home on a business trip

Mr Crane had apparently now become a court judge, and was happily married

As well as the proud father of many children

Few people believed the farmer

As he was known to enjoy his Whiskey just a little too much, perhaps

But speaking honestly here, folks, yes, in all honesty
