Mermaid Princess Zoe

A princess rides her unicorn up into the starry night

Floating down the jet stream, mostly out of sight

Drifting down by the seashore, lost in the mists of time

Or up in the mountain villages just as the sun goes down

Mom's tell kids the stories of her laughter in the skies

Who would know it was just Zoe, in her princess disguise

As a mermaid, she rides the waves, out where the breakers roll

Some surfers say they've seen her

Or heard the tales that the sea captains told

Down by the Equator where Poseidon rules the deep

Or out in the South Sea islands where those drowsey natives sleep
