Shadow

I've been stuck inside my room, and somewhat recently

In silent my solitude, my shadows spoke to me

It gave me some advice, it said to me that

"you'll never be as happy as you used to be

But if you try, you might get pretty close eventually"

It's safer all alone, but listen here's the thing

If you never leave home, no one can hear you sing

That I think that's a shame, because I know that

You've been practicing, you're sounding prеtty good

So step onto the stage, I rеally think that

You could be anything you want to be if

You didn't take yourself so fucking seriously
