The lines on the table, she leaned in and sniffed

She let it sink in and then she asked for a kiss

And if ignorance is bliss, than this is nirvana

And by tonight I'll have her and I don't even want her

And I even tried to warn her, but she's too far gone

She doesn't hear a word, she just wants to play along

She hears that song, "Slowly Coming Apart"

And asks who it's about, who was in my thoughts

And I never say your name, I'm a little embarrassed

And she's not the kind of girl you give details and share with

So I change the subject but can't change my train of thought

It's hard to differentiate between need and want
