I knew it was done right when

The Titans emerged out of the deep while we were asleep

Third eyes closed deliberately blind

Our lives at best were semi-charmed

And never feeling complete

Invaded overwhelmed cities were fully razed

A poetic consequence for forests we set ablaze and abused

Tainted all of our waterways

And now we have the nerve to complain

You see, the planet gave no more shits

Saying, "get rid of this disease; I am over it"

And then unleashed
