Hell of a Life

I'm living at a breakneck pace trying to keep my mind straight

Couple nights in state then it's on to the next place

I'm just putting in the work until I see it pay off

Put my tray table up I'm about to take off

Lil scotch in my cup lil cheese and grapes

Couple years from the date I had to plead my case

If it's me against the world I don't need to wait

I'll leave a message for my girl and say I'll be home late

I wrote a rhyme it's more like a confession

The adolescent in me still needs to learn some lessons

That's why now I'm working for my blessings
