I had two choices, a number of voices, telling me what, I should choose

I took it lightly, remember me rightly so, I've got nothing at all to lose

I looked at the night sky, the darkness was too bright, where on earth, did you go

I thought that I liked you, but you have a life too, so I guess I'll let you live, it alone

Stay in my place, I'm floating away, there's nothing you can do to make me stay

My friend told me, you were folding, under pressure and you need some help

But you denied me, ever so kindly, so you could rot all by yourself

So I stared out my window, stuck in my limbo of fear, what was it I had wanted to hear

And your pain flourished, couldn't gather the courage, to tell me that truth is what I had feared
