Rant on All-Nighters

I'll stay up, all alone, any day of any week

Fight the urge to let my eyes close, and drift off to restless sleep

It's a challenge, I'll admit it, I am no insomniac

But there's just too much to do here, so I keep on comin' back

And on a good night I'll fake slumber from midnight to nine a.m

While I'm watchin' countless movies and re-run George Lopez

So when it's over I feel worthless, like I wasted a whole day

But there's a comfort in simply knowin' everybody was sleepin' anyway

When the pink floods the darkness and the day has begun

I'll be happy for a moment 'cause I know the hard part is almost done
