You're so deserving

After all You gave Your life

And although I'm so unworthy, I could at least give You mine

I felt like a walking disappointment, but there was an appointed time

When You drew me out my foolishness and took blindfolds off my eyes

My inward man was new again like a newborn child

And You could have been through with me, but You kept me alive

How can we deal so foolishly, always thinking we got time

Souls in shambles, but we gamble, taking chances with our lives

Seems we always want the fruit, but want no ties to the vine

When You're the one who sees us through, but we unwisely decline

As if we got better solutions, Lord we must be out our mind
