Critical Literacy

Born in the system, made by who I ask

What’s the agenda, the plan, objective the task

Power, privilege, oppression the mask

Hidden, and layered, in everyday it just has

You and I, not questioning, accepting the class

Blatantly, it has nothing to do with your ass

So I ask out loud, how’d it get this way

Taught in education, society, in the work-place

My points been made, its always been this way guy

So who created and laid this foundation that made my

Conditioned way of thinking “institutionalized mind”

So the average guy is blinded, with the hate in the eyes
