The words I speak melt through each other with every breath I take

Without a want, or need, to speak - I'm accepting my mistakes

Breathe in the smoke that holds me up, and exhale any shame

I told myself I'd make it right no matter what it takes

Too tired to crawl back into bed, so I'll sit here for a while

So many thoughts spin me all around; leave me feeling like a child

I'm wrapped up in a world that I will never understand

Maybe I'm just trying too hard, and if I breathe, I know I can

If I had to be the one to show the world I'm not afraid

I would take the time I've spent too well and throw it all away
