Honey, where'd the sunshine go

We still had so much left to do

But if you think it's time to go, I'll go too

I know night's become day again, but I always hate to see them end

We tried to see the sunrise, but we slept right through

It's a long way for a few nights, for boardwalk chapels and neon lights

For making plans, for never coming home

But it's all we need to really see, this is how it's supposed to be

Happier when it's just you and me

And when the winter comes again, we'll have scars from sun still on our skin
