Naive

Naive, but just a day old I can't remember anything but what I've been told

And I wish that I could've seen that start of everything, the start of anything

What a beauty that that could've been, exploding gas, unbearable heat

But now it just seems to me that when you go you're gone forever

There's a part of me that wants to know, but most of me just doesn't care

Did we all appear today? Is the universe even aware

That thought scared me at first, impermanence, such a deafening force
