I miss the roads we used to roam when we were young

I miss the days we spent outside playing in the sun

I miss the times when we would sneak out every night

And meet at dark underneath the only lit light

I miss the two pm rides home from school

And back for track when we could hardly stand at all

I miss the days we only talked about the nights

We laughed so hard we were oblivious to time
