If I died today, what would they say

Would the echoes of my laughter slowly fade away

Dreams half-written, like pages torn in two

A life unfinished, left without a clue

I'd miss the morning mist on the mountain's spine

That first kiss of coffee at sunrise time

I'd miss the chance to learn how to let go

Of the fears that kept me tethered below

There's a world out there with stories untold

Winding paths I'll never get to hold
