I Needed A Savior

I was a broken child with no healing in sight

Too young to battle way too young for the fight

How can I run from the trauma it cuts like a knife

Or find a safe place to run to save my own life

Oh Heavenly Father Oh Father where can you be

I need a savior right now Jesus please rescue me

The years go by and by and still no savior in my sight

I'm distant from the pain but still ready for the fight

Though my eyes still cannot see, God are you really here

I am crying out in darkness through the memories and sin and fear

So I am barely breathing anxiety and panic takes me down
