Weakness

In the face of sorrow I stand so small

Every tear that falls feels like a heavy call

I try to be strong but I'm breaking inside

In this sea of despair there's nowhere to hide

I'm learning my weakness it's hard to accept

In the shadows of doubt I feel so inept

Fighting against the current I'm losing my way

In this battle of life I'm just trying to stay

I put on a brave face but it's wearing thin

Behind every smile there's a struggle within
