Rescue

I realize that I wrestle with, this part of me called pride

There's time I lose my patience, as if I haven't tried

Often times I'm angry, which makes me so unkind

With no regards for others, my choices make me blind

I don't understand why I do what I do

Instead of doing good, I do the things I hate

Who will rescue me from this wretched state?

I know I can do better, yet I struggle with my will

I should make better choices, but I make the bad ones still
