Normal

For as long as I can remember, I have been different from the people around me

Things that they found to be so easy were a constant struggle for me to understand

Now I know that my brain was always structured like that, from the start

We can pretend all we want that people will fit in neatly in the mould chosen

I might be different, but that doesn't make me wrong or mistaken

"You should be normal", they keep on telling me, even when I try as hard as I can

Why do I have to bang my head against the wall put up around me by others?

This is might not be the life that I wanted, but it is the life I will always have

It might not be how others view normal, even so, it will be good enough for me
