That used to be me

I'm learning to be kind as I watch the enemies of the Lord fall and stumble

Cause they're blind. It used to anger me, now all I can feel is sadness and pity

God really did a number on this heart, I can finally see

God have mercy on my enemies, they are blind, they can't even see

Please hear me, they're worth saving, forgive their misbehaving

Just have mercy, stay the judgment, please God won't you love them the way that you love me

Sometimes I'm bitter and I'm angry and say things I don't mean

Other times I'm as sweet as sweet can be, but yet you love me and forgive me

You would never walk away and quit me. Lord please save my enemies like you saved me
