If I could speak all languages of earth and the skies,

But have no love, I'm nothing but an empty cry.

If I had faith to move the mountains and seas,

But without love, I'd gain nothing, I'd cease to be.

Love is patient, love is kind,

It's not jealous, it's not blind.

It's not proud, nor does it boast,

Love never fails; it's what matters most.

Love does not demand its way or rejoice in the wrong,

It's always hopeful, enduring, steadfast, and strong.
