Tangled In The Lights

I'm putting out my Christmas lights to make my house look bright at night

But I tripped and fell, lost all my might, got tangled in the lights

I cried for help, I screamed, I plead, I put up a big fight

But after all of that, I still got tangled in the lights

My wife came out and she just laughed, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack

She looked at me and asked me why I got tangled in the lights

That made me mad, so I tried to squirm, but this just made me look like a light wrapped worm

Got wrapped up good, got wrapped up tight, but still tangled in the lights

I hope my neighbor sees me on the ground, because if not, I may never be found

Please come over and make this right, because I'm still tangled up in the lights
