Sitting Sideways

Just sitting sideways on my front porch

There's still some summer to adore

I can still crack open a cold one but shut the door

I just need to see this happening in my neighborhood

It's so beautiful to see kids playing at night under the moon

Dad's throughing pitches to his daughter's catchers mite

And kids running free like it's the 1980's

There's still some love to give in the Deep South summers are hot but we are still coming out

There's nothing that can keep us all away

Not even the sun humidity or mosquitoes

Just learned how to turn a wrap into a Taco Bell burrito
