Work and Repeat

It's that sound again, the sound of my alarm

I fumble around in the dark hitting empty space until I find that snooze button

It's a new day, I'm still alive and reminded I have a home, I have a wife and little sausage dog that makes me smile

On goes the kettle, I have a special mug that nobody can use, it's mine and it keeps the brew really damn hot

I have thirty minutes to get ready and the tea is still too hot

I look into the bathroom mirror and plan each step to get ready

The time now is six thirty-five, I'm wondering if I need to wash my hair to save some time

Number one is number two's
