Hope's a consolation when you're looking for a meaning

A candle in the dark

A necessary feeling

There's a bird outside the window

I see him calling me again

Are they looking for their family

Do they want to come in?

I have this dream at least once a week

Where either I grow wings or the bird learns to speak

I hold the bird tight in my arms

I wake up to the sound of the fire alarm
