Echoes

Shadows creeping in the night, no escape

Whispers echoing through walls like a tape

Heartbeat sinking with a heavy beat

Dancing demons under moonlight heat

Empty halls with the ghosts in tow

Footsteps out but there's nowhere to go

Eyes are watching from the shoulder there

In the snowy bricks inside of this jail

Faces pounding underneath my skin

Further than close when the world begins
