Rolling clouds on the horizon, a storm is brewing near

With the rumble of the thunder, I face my deepest fear

Got my boots on the ground, and my hat pulled low

In the heart of Texas, where the wild winds blow

Every mile of this journey, etched in the dust and rain

With the lightning flashing brightly, I embrace the pain

From the canyons to the plains, where the rivers flow

In this rugged land, is where my spirit grows
