Sometimes its hard to sleep

Without a lot of noise

To bury all the thoughts carrying the loudest voice

It's hard to dream in a bed that you don't make

Sometimes I panic into my thoughts

And then they haunt me

I remember that I need to eat, sometimes

Imagining this is a cycle i can break

I try to ground myself

I can breathe

I can still taste, smell, touch, writhe and see

But am I really here?
