In My Palm

Something grew when i held out my palm

A six-foot vine through the vein in my arm

Inside my broken skin i repeat my biggest lies

That i've felt love and i hate goodbyes

That i've known love and i'm good at goodbyes

Someone told me my hands tell the truth

So i rip them open and i look through

The vine turns into snake, slithers into my grave

Filled with hearts that told me how i am rotten

With the eyes that hold everything i've forgotten
