Don't want to dabble anymore, because my life is almost out the door

I wonder what could be in store if I focused and tried for more

I have thought long and hard at every turn, every fork in the road

But I still made many mistakes, with consequences I could not shake

I may have played it too safe, so many risks I did not take

But there's still time to flourish

The longer it takes the more or will nourish
