Sittin' with a sober conscious

While I'm weighing out my problems

About to talk to God, got to get the prayer life back proper

Living in the past not for me, Lord direct my path

I can't ignore the mess I need order

Fighting not to get lost in the daily repetitions of this life

Deep thought, I kick back and dim the lights

11th grade and somewhere around the corner gon' be better days

Holding on tight to patience, it's only right we make it

I actually got too many blessings in my life to hate it
