The smell of that burning candle on late nights in the trees

On the porch swing swinging and we can feel the steady breeze

And everything's so fleeting and we all are growing old

You've lived this life with love but now you've gone on home

The way the water flows in the mountains well it runs so far and deep

We were sitting in that swimming hole eatin' dinner by the creek
