Red Scare

Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death

I got God on my side. No longer strapped with a vest

No longer filled with all this hatred I had trapped in my chest

Don't think I want the money. I ain't after the checks

Used to run from the Lord like He had lights flashing blue and red

But now I pay Him what I owe Him like I'm losing bets

And that is due respect

Only God and music left

Some close friends turned to snakes like Medusa's head

Never going back to who I was but I do reflect

I refuse to bring him back. I won't exhume the dead

Christ coming back, but you blind like"where the signs at?"
