Autumn's Echo

Late nights streetlights flicker in the distance

Echoes of a season whisperin' resistance

Told me everything fades but it circles back

Like the trees grow bare then the green comes intact.

In the chill I reflect on the warmth I've lost

But I'm still burnin' bright no matter the frost.

Leaves fall like moments I can't quite catch

But the wind carries 'em forward and I follow the match.

Life's like the breeze unpredictable but clean

Sweeps you off your feet changes everything you've seen.
