Negativity, I can feel it in this polluted air Unpleasant experiences of our life, sometimes are hard to bare

Opposing our desires, the feeling isn't fair The rules and regulations from the ego that we share

How we yearn this, how we yearn that How we deserve this, how we deserve that

Expressing opinions and beliefs as if they were the facts

Anytime we perceive, we automatically react From out of arrogance and righteousness, now we know that's facts

Hold on, turn this up for the people that's in the back

Kill to be rich, afraid to die broke It shows weakness, the way we let money control us

Reflects insecurity, leaving us hopeless Without it, it's too obvious for no one not to notice

It's the root of most evil, it triggers the emotion We have to stay woke, we gotta stay focused

I understand it's hard to sleep with one of our eyes open We practice what we preach, then join the motion
