Unwritten rules

Now here's a story, it's not necessarily mine

It will apply on anyone when the world appears unkind

You're in the lonely corner where no one can see or hear

You have been misunderstood from your first memorable years

It's all a matter of insight, to know what you have to choose

Will you rise from kneeling down or remain the one they abuse

I never wore this moth infested pale skin to attract

I think by now that's obvious, a well-established fact

I understand the jungle of vague unwritten rules

But I kept on laughing when no one else were amused
