There's a loyal tentacle parked on the back of a granite stone

The stone never interjects it's opinion on time or life

Change is inevitable and the tentacle won't stand alone

Sometimes it's much easier to latch onto our own lies

Soften this stone

With my hands manipulating

Time breaks everything down

Like knives against this

Cold rock negotiating

Time dulls sharp edges round
