Him

I know that I'm not operating off my own strength

Not to say that I'm not strong, or to discredit myself

But He breathes life into me when I'm a mess, when I'm a wreck

I try to walk with Him in every step

But if I'm being honest, I'm not giving Him my best

I could do better, and I will, He has all my respect

I gotta own what I do on my end

The love I seek has been the love He gives me, I didn't realize

Cause I was too busy seeking it in people I liked

I say I want Him in the center of things in my life

Yet, I don't ever make room until I need advice

Until I'm on my knees, until I need to cry
