The love I seek has been the love He gives me, I didn't realize

If I say that I love Him, I gotta show Him, love is action

He shows me everyday, even on days when nothing happens

I'm not scared to commit, I just lack discipline

And He's still patient with me? I'm tryna get like Him

He forgives me cause He knows my heart, and my intentions, but sometimes that isn't enough

He gets me through it every time, when I'm hurting, healing, being abused, and where is my love or the lack thereof?

He has saved me so many times, that's how I know He's real

I'm not religious, but that doesn't mean that I don't feel

His love inspires me, so I treat everyone the way that I wanna be treated

And I don't regret the love I gave, maybe it's what was needed

I'm always working on me

I know He's proud of who I am, and who I'm working to be

I take responsibility for what I say and do

I learn from my mistakes, and I know it's what He would do

I ain't walked by sight in so long cause I'm walking my faith

Some days it's hard, some days my plans have to get delayed

I have to trust in Him, and simply go at His pace
